Lattie spent the first year or so of her life with us and then went to live with George and Jo Kimes.  There she is rather spoiled but the Kimes deal in show cattle and sheep so she still gets the opportunity to work.  George and Jo kept Latigo's sire, Diamond S Sam for a couple of months the summer he was here visiting and then had the opportunity to work Sam.  George said he wished someone had told him about Sam when he sent him to bring in a steer who refused to come up - he had to climb a fence to get away from the steer that was "fetched" right into his lap!  George has worked Latigo and she is silent like both of her parents.  She will go to heads and heels.  He says she is a bit fast but very confident with cattle.
